Abstract
Five prescribable statins are licensed in the UK: atorvastatin (Lipitor); fluvastatin (Lescol); pravastatin (Lipostat or generic); â–¼rosuvastatin (Crestor); simvastatin (Zocor or generic or branded generic e.g. Simvador). Here we discuss the relative merits of different statins in addressing cardiovascular risk.
